unhappy mindsets
your thoughts become unguarded
ending without end
another brick in the wall
standing on the edge of time

A gander at me –
I enjoyed a dedicated career in the insurance industry for over 20 years being rewarded both professionally and personally. Now it’s time for me to follow my dreams by doing things I enjoy…spending time with family, learning, sharing, traveling, writing poetry and encouraging others to pursue their goals.

I like the linked fragmented style of this, Eugenia. Each line stands alone yet of the whole.

Thank you, Eric. Many of my older poems are written this way. This is a poem I brought back with a few revisions.

thoughts like bricks in a wall – that was a beautiful image – like little books in a library of thoughts. loved the structure of the poem too Eugenia.
