By Sue Vincent and Charles Robert Lindholm
Can you see
the first golden
flames of autumn
start to show
as the leaves burn and turn
into glorious colors
as summer drifts away
on the memories of yesterdays
Can you smell it
in the crisp morning air
with the hint of a mist on the ground
and smoke in the air
from the morning fires
in the fireplaces.
Autumn is sneaking up on us
and will soon burst
across the landscape
with every leaf arrayed
in gold, orange and yellow
in its yearly fashion show.
I can’t wait!!

So happy you enjoyed this!! It was such an honor to have created something with Sue, she is an awesome writer. I have been blessed a couple of time to have gleaned a seed of inspiration from Sue that turned into a poem!! How do you adequately thank someone for a lifetime gift???

Hi, Chuck let me first apologise for spelling error with regard to last letter in Chuck – replacing the final ‘k’ with ‘h’. Truly, how does one adequately thank someone in such circumstances? Possibly by continuing writing great poetry to be read and enjoyed. Have a great day. Goff

You need not give that little typo a thought, My Friend!! One of those “I mean what you know” situations! Whisked away in the wind, Goff! 😁✨✨
