Come taste the richness of August,
Upon lips of caramelized honey.
Here we forget the aging apples,
Hanging in their orchard rows.
The sun may be setting,
But day’s heat lingers on.
So feast upon baked cakes,
Glistening with mounting spoils.
Forget your worn feet,
And weary heart.
Now is the time to breathe life in,
And sink deeply into the arms of Summer.

Good laws! Thank you for your kind words. I’m excited for you to be st the end of winter! 8’C does not sound appealing. I’m looking forward to Fall, and am wondering what winter will be like. Thanks for the read!
