BLURRED MEMORIES

Memories replayed
that were joyful
and exciting
and fun
stay
in focus

Vivid
and alive
in my heart
as the day
they were
made

Others
have
been forgotten
or become
blurred
from
the damage
of tears
that fell on them

Blurred memories
from a long ago
past

Hidden in the heart
where the healing
of time
keeps the truth
and pain
forgotten
and the memories
that remain
gently and
softly blurred
